Dandenong Agricultural Show

Team Joyce attended the Dandenong Agricultural Show for the girls and myself it was the 18th year in a row but for Wes it was his 29th year only missing one year when he took a horse to a World Cup Qualifier. Time just keep ticking by and before you know it the show is over. This year Wes has a 5yo youngster he bred himself LH Mr Percival a very tall chestnut gelding standing at 17.3hh broken in May so still very green. Tiffany took her fav LH Johnny.

LH Johnny is the perfect roll model in teaching a newbie how to behave at an event. The two of them got along very well. On Saturday LH Mr Percival jumped in his first ever Maiden D Grade with one rail and the same in the Open D Grade . We were very happy with his attitude because there is always so much hype and activity going on at agi shows compared to showjumping events.

Tiffany and LH Johnny jumped in the Open 1.25m KWA Building Permits & Inspections jumping two clear rounds placing 3rd.

On Sunday Team Joyce met Graegill Show Ponies Team Thorpe/Heal over at the Showing section and had the opportunity to do a Barastoc Chat-ski , have a listen they are a very young passionate horsey family like many others out there.

Next weekend Team Joyce are off to our local Holden Korumburra Showjumping Classic so stay tuned for results, oh Sarah will be coming on LH Albert so our family will be complete which is sure to be a special occasion.
