Sarah has been spending many months preparing her two minature ponies for the AMHS Feature Show held at Heathcote. It was a 3 half hr drive each way which meant being up at the crack of dawn and home late in the evening. To our delight little Poppy is a Rock Star from the very first class.
These two gorgeous minatures were bred by Sarah’s mother in law Leanne Baker. Sarah feels it is a great privilege owning them to show and enjoy. Domino Downs Lil Pop Star and Domino Downs Just a Devil sure do require alot of work on your knees. Today was our second show ever and both behaved perfectly.
Little Rock Star ‘ Poppy ( Harry Potter at home ) came away with Champion & Supreme Minature plus Supreme Gelding of ALL breeds !!! The All Breed prize was a total shock’ we did reminisce that over and over on our long journey home.
He also claimed Best Trot and 2nd for Best Colour. Fancy Dress was an extra bit of fun. Sarah is a huge fan of Harry Potter so this time we thought it appropriate to have that as our theme.
Domino Downs Just a Devil known as Neville at home also claimed many prizes. 2nd Best Head , 4th Best Colour , 4th Best Presented. He is really settling in nicely and not so worried about the other ponies, he is not as experienced as Pop Star the Rock Star. We are now prepping for the next outing, our local Korumburra Agricultural Show.
