Lals Haven Kath and Kim were born October 2022. Their mother Bambi is a gorgeous multi coloured pygmy. These two twin sistsers are inseperable. They eat sleep frolock and even sit together. They are never apart. It is the most adorable aspect of goats.
We all understand that goats are companions and as herd animals, goats do not feel safe living alone: they need other goats as companions. Goats are social animals who need the company of at least one other goat, but also get along with cows, sheep, horses, or donkeys. They also get along with cats and most dogs.
Sometimes Kath & Kim head butt eachother. They never hurt one another it is always as a getsure of play.I will be interested to see if Bambi has another set of twins this year. Or was it a fluke ?
Did you know goats head butt or head push?
Head Butting and Head Pushing:
Older goats head butt to play, but more often to fight. They will fight between themselves to establish dominance and they will take “pot-shots” at smaller goats to show them who is boss. There is really nothing you can do to get them not to do this- it’s what goats do.
Goats are social, curious, gentle, independent and intelligent. They get bored and lonely when alone. So it is very fortunate that Kath and Kim will live there life together forever. Like goats, love is loyal.
