Team Joyce had a really nice weekend at the local Korumburra Holden Showjumping Classic. Team Joyce were together as a family for a whole day doing what we love showjumping. We all had a go in different levels and our horses went very well. It was third time lucky for Wes and Oaks Volta. He has only ventured out to shows seven times. We think Volta is showing some great potential. Our young stallion Oaks Volta steps up 1.30m proving to us that he definitely has the scope.
Why was it third time lucky?

For some extra information : Sarah & I attempted the 75cm class in Ring 2 with success. No ribbons but you know that feeling of how great it all felt and really enjoying yourself. We had exactly that. Sarah is doing placements for her University course so there was no time to ride during the week in preparation for the show. Wes rode both LH Albert & LH Johnny this week to keep them going under saddle.
Tiffany rode LH Johnny in the Open 1.20m & 1.30m on the Saturday and jumped a lovely clean round in the 1.20m and had 1 rail in the 1.30m.
