I am often asked what I feed my goats. It is very easy , I feed a small amount of Barastoc Goat Mix & Barastoc Goat Pellets. Everything my goats need to maintain a healthy weight coat and hooves are in my scoops of Mix & Pellets. Using a Barastoc feed scoop I weigh the mix/pellets to make sure I am giving my goats the suggested amounts. There is always grass hay adlib and fresh water.
I have a under cover mineral bar that contains Salt and I enjoy giving them the seaweed meal as a treat!
Why I choose Barastoc Goat Pellet
• Contains highly palatable and nutritious ingredients that appeal to goats.
• Specifically formulated to create a nutritionally balanced diet for goats when fed out with good quality pasture and hay.
• Provides a mineral and vitamin supplement specifically formulated to meet the needs of goats.
• Contains added ammonium sulphate to support urinary tract health.
It is important to introduce Barastoc Goat Pellet gradually to their diet over a 2 – 3 week period to minimise the risk of acidosis.

Why do I feed the mix and the pellets?
I have some goats that prefer one over the other therefore I mix the two and they eat all of it. Sometimes does are pregnant and its peace of mind knowing they are getting all the correct nutrients before kidding. As it says the mix is ideal for breeding / lactating goats. Barastoc Goat Mix is lower in energy and higher in fibre, which is ideal for fibre producing goats.
Ensure that a plentiful supply of fresh, clean water is available at all times.
