Waited six years

Team Joyce are looking very forward to attending the Australian Showjumping Championships at Boneo Park in November. Wes is riding Oaks Volta & Cera Ducati ( Handsome ). Our Sarah has waited six years and finally she is going to have some fun riding at this event to.

Our Sarah studied for 11 years to fulfill her dream now a full time working Veterinarian

Sarah waited six years and finally the day has come

Wes has been working on LH Veruca a 4yo mare by our stunning Oaks Volta. She has not been out to many events but we are hoping that due to her fabulous nature she will be willing to give the rounds a go for Sarah. In this instance not only has the mare done very little but it is the same for her rider. We have entered the pair in the Ivory Series which starts at 80cm.

Giving showjumping a good go

As many of you know Sarah has been competing in Dressage with many accolades riding her most loved LH Albert. This time she wants to have a go in the jumping arena. She was a very competitive Junior & Young Rider back in the day but University and making a career leaves no room for much else. Studying full time and living in Wagga Wagga wanting to become a Veterinarian took over her life.

Sarah started jumping very young
At only 3 years she loved to dress up and ride all day long

Have a glance below you will see so many beaming smiles. Sarah has always loved horses. She has ridden many over the years and always been willing to help us at Lals Haven Stud.

Fully qualified and working as a Vet

We were so surprised when Sarah announced that her work kindly supported her passion and have made it possible for her to fulfill a dream for many years. Six years watching the Live Stream was the only way she could be connected to the show, finally we will all be together as a family again.

LH Veruca will be Sarah’s mount at the ASJC

Sarah and Veruca will have some fun jumping at the Aussie Titles. As we mentioned earlier they have both not done very much. They attended the Lever Freshmans in September and jumped in the 80cm and 90cm with no real trouble.

Wes is taking his young stallion Cera Ducati

Wes is super keen to see how Oaks Volta goes in the Future Stars section and Handsome will also have a look in the Opal Series. So stay tuned for more updates the Australian Sowjumping Championships is sure to be a real eye opener for Team Joyce
