Team Joyce have been quietly working tirelessly with our Oaks Volta for many months now at home teaching him his stud duties. The education was for all of us not just Volta, Wes and I have never actually taught a colt to jump a dummy. We have only ever covered live services with LH Pauly which was over 6 years ago now, and he was an easy stallion to teach because Wes always had him nicely under control. Oaks Volta was to learn how to jump a solid thing called a ‘Dummy’ and being covered in black canvas did not look very attractive to say the least.
