During October the weather was very wet and cold. It was time to take notice of the does coming into heat and decide which ones we were going to join to which buck. We have 6 bucks here now. All are very different in type height and percentage. I have been working on giving ourselves choice when mating the does because they to are all different sizes and ages. We are wanting to try and give the does every chance to have an easy birth. It is never a promise, every season is different but it makes us feel like we are doing our very best from the very start.

As you can see they are all so very handsome and possess many different qualities. We have chocolate, dark grey agouti, light grey agouti, caramel and black with swiss markings and mahogany legs. To think that only a few months ago I was thinking I only needed 1 buck. Today I love them all and cannot wait to see what we can produce. Stay tuned to see what kids arrive on 2025.
