LH Priscilla & new owner Natalya

Team Joyce are very glad to hear that LH Priscilla has been moved on and re-sold to a new owner Natalya Vallelonga. Lets go back to where it all started. LH Priscilla was born here at Lals Haven in the year 2007, Priscilla is by LH Paulie out of LH Chernoble . Originally she was broken in by Team Joyce and going kindly under saddle as a 4 year old ridden by Sarah and been to a few feshmans days . We then sold her to Michelle Debenham for her 14 year old daughter Molly. They slowly educated her over the years and took her to many Pony Club rallies and riding lessons. Molly grew taller very quickly so Michelle took over the ride for a while and enjoyed having dressage lessons. Then Michelle decided she would like a taller horse with more movement to excel in the higher levels of dressage. LH Priscilla was then sold to Natalya.

This is Natalya’s story:

“LH Priscilla, or “Bella” as she is mostly called, came to live with me in Wallington at the end of September 2013, when I was 16 (I have just turned 17). We attend regular rallies at Portarlington & District Pony Club. We have started our competing in the lower levels while we are still getting to know how each other work, but have already had some success and plan to make our way up the grades in all disciplines, particularly in showjumping. The first competition Bella and I entered was Ballan PC Combined Training Day in November last year. Bella was very well behaved and we ended up 2nd in dressage and 2nd overall in grade 4. This year we started the competition season with our first Horse trials together, Drysdale Leopold PC HT, where Bella and I came equal 4th in dressage, clear show jumping and 1 stop at the first jump in Cross country (because she thought it might eat her!), but after that didn’t she hesitate at any other jump (including a huge leap into the water jump!). We came 9th overall in grade 4 which I was very happy with. Our next comp was the first round of the Barwon Equine Showjumping Tournament (BEST). Bella showed her show jumping talent and we placed 3rd in AM5 being one of three riders to go double clear. We placed 10th in equitation, giving us 6th place overall in D grade for the day. We have more Horse Trials & rounds of the BEST over the coming weeks and we look forward to improving our performance. Everywhere we go we meet people who are so impressed by Bella’s jumping potential, and how relaxed and laid back she is! What I like most about Bella is her personality. She is so laid back and even enjoys a nap while I’m on her waiting our turn or tied to the float, but knows when to get up & go when it’s time to work.

Thank you Natalya for making contact with us, we love to hear all the latest news on our previous LH performance horses. Team Joyce hope you enjoy riding LH Priscilla and may she bring you plenty if pleasure and success in what you hope for and more. Keep in touch!
